Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars about pediatric and general dentistry, as well as CPR.
Clinical Staff
Christie Wingate, Dental Hygienist
Christie was born and raised in Dorchester County, Maryland. She graduated from Villa Julie College in 1998 with an associate's degree and in 200 received a degree in Dental Hygiene from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Christie has been with the practice sine 2004. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and is very active in the Eastern Shore Dental Hygienists Association. Christie now lives in Salisbury with her husband and her cat, Addie. She loves the color blue, enjoys reading, traveling, and baking. Christie's favorite part of working at Krause Smiles, is helping kids achieve good oral health and to encourage then to love going to the dentist!
Molly Hazeltine, Dental Assistant
Molly spent the early part og her life in Woodland, California before her family moved to Cambridge, Maryland. She attended Chesapeake College. She has a certification in Dental Assisting and just recently received her Dental Radiology Certification. She has a black lab named Beauty and a ferret named Evie. Molly has always loved going to the dentist and helping people and this shows in her daily interactions with patients. She enjoys being around kids and is excited to be learning about orthodontics. Molly loves pink and blue, and her words to live by are "To thine own self be true."
Gina Alaine Clements, Dental and Orthodontic Assistant
Gina hails from Baltimore, Maryland and moved to the Eastern Shore when she was 9. She attended Savannah College of Art & Design where she studied Fashion and Ceramics. She received her certifications-- Dental Assistant and Radiology for Dental Assistants at Wor-Wic Community College. She has a beautiful daughter, Ellamia, and a dog named Agadar. As a former patient, Gina remembers loving her "fun" dental visits with Dr Jerry and is happy to be a part of the Krause Smiles team. Gina is always smiling, so it's no surprise that the reason she loves working in pediactric dentistry and orthodontics is because she loves smiles, teeth, braces, and kids!
Rhoda Salem, Dental and Orthodontic Assistant
Rhoda grew up in Michigan and then resided in Palestine before earning her Dental Degree from the Dominican Republic. She is excited to be working with Dr Jerry while she waits to gain licensure in the United States. Rhoda's years of experience combined with her great energy and bi-lingual skills are a vital part of the Krause Smiles team. She resides in Salisbury with her husband and two children, Laith and Bayan.
Kirsten Hawkins, Assistant to Dental Hygienist
Kirsten graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 2010. She grew up on a farm in Berlin, Maryland, and she is the youngest of four sisters. Her favorite things: horses, cheerleading, the beach, and being an Aunt. She loves working with kids and teeth! Kirsten hopes to one day be an orthodontist and in the meantime is working towards her prerequisites at Wor-Wic Community College. As a former patient, Kirsten has always enjoyed the fun environment at Krause Pediatric Orthodontic and Dental Care and she has a beautiful smile to prove it!
Office Staff
Jeanne Willing, Front Office Coordinator
Jeanne joined the Krause Smiles team after spending over 32 years working as a Medical Office Manager for Dr Joe Meadows. She brings years of experience as wellas her great attitude and smile to our team. Jeanne is married to her high school sweetheart and has three daughters and threee grandchildren. She is from, and still resides in Princess Anne, Maryland. Her motto in life-- "It is what it is."
Erin Bryan, Scheduling Coordinator
Erin grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and has her B.A. in Communications from Salisbury University. She has also earned a Certificate in Human Resource Management and is currently working towards a MBA at University of Mayland University College. She has worked in customer service for 14 years. Erin's first love is animals- particularly horses, as she is an avid equestrian, CHA Certified Riding Instructor, and Equine Sports Massage Therapist. She lives in Fruitland with her husband, 3 dogs, and 2 fish tanks. Erin aims to "live life to the fullest" and is thrilled to be a part of the great atmosphere and team at Krause Smiles.
