Dental Benefits

Dr. Mark and the Krause Smiles team make every effort to provide not only excellent, but exceptional service. Our office is trained to maximize your dental benefits by immediately filing your insurance claim to ensure timely & efficient processing on your behalf. We file claims to all insurance plans on an out-of-network basis as a courtesy for our patients. We are able to do this electronically allowing our patients to receive insurance reimbursements within a few days, in most cases.

We would be happy to submit a predetermination on your behalf, which will give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket expense, with just a few pieces of information. We kindly ask that services be paid for at the time of treatment and accept cash, check, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover for your convenience.  We would love to answer any questions you may have regarding the billing of our services!

Scheduling Appointments

Any appointment made at Krause Smiles is an agreement between you, the patient and our office.  Please extend the courtesy of at least 48 hours notice on appointment changes so that we may offer your time to patients awaiting care time.  Any missed appointments are subject to a $85 fee.  Emergencies and unforeseen circumstances are an exception and will be considered on an individual basis. We make every effort to keep our schedule on time; however some children can require special care and time. It could be your child some day that needs our extra attention. We appreciate your understanding.
